I'm your IT career advisor!

Hello there, GoblinByte reader! Thanks for checking us out!

I'm David Geiger, and I love to help people with their IT careers. I'm a new contributor here and I'm pleased to bring my message to the GoblinByte community.

I will be posting here as often as possible to bring you the best insights on IT career development. I like talking about certifications, the job hunt, contracting, and even running your own IT business. I also cover general IT topics, like Hardware, VMware, and whatever the heck else I like to talk about.

Please feel free to reach out to me directly and ask questions. You can be general, or if I can, I'll advise you on your specific situation. Please use the contact form waaaaay at the bottom of the page. You can also hook in with me with the social media links in my profile below my posts.

When I'm not writing here at GoblinByte, I'm flying my own blog over at CareerLevelUp.com. I'm also a full-time Systems Administrator. I've also worked in and run a Desktop Support team (so I know that feel, bro). I hold A+ and Network+ from CompTIA, I'm a Microsoft Office 2007 Specialist, as well as the VCA6-DCV. I'm working on my VPC6-DCV and will definitely write about my experiences here.

I also spend waaaay too much time at Spiceworks. I also like memes, which I will use in my posts and you will deal with it.

So again, thanks, and I look forward to talking with you soon!
