Knowledge is amazing, earning it and the journey is by far the most valuable adventure any one of us can take in any field. In particular the hacking industry is a vastly interesting, ever changing, phenomenal experience of trial and error. Our issue comes when individuals want to misplace common sense, with blatant ignorance, or outright stupidity. All in the quest to learn something new. If hacking is the destination of this venture, lets learn how to talk and ask questions appropriately.
Legality Of The Goal
When hacking becomes an option, or an interest, the first spark for most is some form of illegal activity. How to hack Facebook, how to hack steam, how to hack credit card numbers, these aren't legal acts. Even if its used as a prank against a buddy, hacking their Facebook is far from legal. If the goal is one of these less than legal tasks, asking in a fashion that is blatantly ignorant of law is honestly... stupid. Ask questions in a more candid fashion. To do so, hop on over to my "Art Of Deception" post from a little while back, lots of good information is to be had from it.

It's Not That Easy
Here is a fun twist on reality, hacking is easy.... no it's not. Although it isn't easy, there seems to be some level of unknowing and misunderstanding, lead by Hollywood of course, but don't misplace the fact hacking isn't easy. Returning back to the less than legal section, "how do I hack Facebook" really falls under this "its not as easy as you think" situation. If the general knowledge by the asker in regards to technology isn't really anywhere beyond the ability to create a Facebook account, don't expect ascertaining someone else's credentials will be just as easy. Do some research into hacking fundamentals, and honestly you'll figure out how to do it without asking these silly questions online, where the public will see what you're trying to do.
Research First
Sure not every question can be formulated with the knowledge on hand, but there has to be some substance to the background and some demonstration of knowledge required to be capable of understanding and computing the information requested. But there is a basic understanding of concepts required. Asking bluntly "how do I hack", shows little to no understanding of what the hell the "hacker" wants. Hacking isn't the same as eating a sandwich, sure what you get out is going to be amazing and worth it, but the skills required alter the end product. Modifying source code on an OS, knocking down a network via DDOS, and exploiting a new Java vulnerability are entirely different in their execution. There is no 1 button hack solution, if there was why wouldn't there be more hackers?
Some Can't Learn
The mindset of learning how to hack must be embarked upon for the development of knowledge, for the desire to actually learn. If there is no intention beyond revenge, or trying to be Jeff Goldblum from independence day firing off a windows 2000 code to an unknown mother ship, without the actual attempt to learn. The hard thought out answers you'll receive will be stuck in a shroud of ignorance. And most likely with this being the case, the answers will eventually veer from helpful to social engineering and levels of epic trolling. Subjects and questions that are confusing will be exploited for personal gain. I told someone to microwave their phone the other day to increase its WiFi connection speed and hack Facebook.
Conclusion
Your word is your most powerful tool, and easily the most powerful weapon that can be used against you. If there is no intentions to learn, then you'll either fall prey, or discarded. Research a little first, know what you're talking about, know what you're asking, and don't do something that'll jeopardize yourself or others. And as always, be safe my goblins.
