Resolution To The Microsoft SCAM. Part 1
In the previous post I brought up what happened with my grandmother and how she got scammed, and here is the conclusion to the tale.
My grandmother gave me the phone number and I told her I'd sort it out for her last night. Here is the thing about me if you don't know, I like to troll, I like to troll HARD, if you're trying to scam me or take advantage of me, the tree you're barking up shouldn't be this one.
I call and get the voice mail machine. I call and call and call before I get a real person, and he picks up and says "who is this?"
Do I have a wrong number? I say "my microsoft windows is locked up, you locked it yesterday and I need help."
He responds "ok who is this?"
I told him I have no name, and he hung up. Ok so lets try again. Call after call black balled, I know he's there, he's just getting annoyed with his phone non-stop ringing, and he picks up again. "what do you want?"
I ask him, "where do I mail my check?"
"you don't do a check, you need a $500 green dot card" he says
"Where do I mail it too?" I reply slightly about to laugh.
"you don't just go to the store and get a $500 green dot card and call back" once again
We do this tango for approximately 6 minutes until he says "if you're not going to F***ing listen you F***ing B**** than don't F***ing call me, get the F*** off my F***ing phone, I have real customers to help" and hangs up.
Zingo, its game time, you don't talk to a customer this way, and well... I play for keeps bud so this game a'int over until I get my way, yeee hawwww.
I spend the next 30 minutes calling as quick as I can, he finally picks up. "What do you want? Stop F***ing calling me ok?"
I tell him "I want my grandmothers computer unlocked"
"Give her the phone so her and I can solve this problem ok?" he says.
"She's not with me, she told me to take care of this, so I am."I told him
"I can't do a F***ing thing without her ok? So stop F***ing calling me until she's with you ok?" click.
Nope, Ryan don't play that way homie. I continue on my spam brigade, this situation is getting solved whether he likes it or not :-D.
He picks up again, "What did I tell you?"
I laugh and say, "I know what you said, and you know what I want, you spent a few hours in her computer, and her firewall has you logged, so you can give me what I want, or I'll be so far up your F***ing @$$ you'll regret you F***ed with me in the first place you ignorant F***ing C***."
Fear in his voice he replies "good... real F***ing good.... you F***ing B****" and hangs up again.
One more call...
"Fine I'll give you the F***ing password you happy? You know you're denying her her services, and denying us payment, this is bad business, you're a real @$$hole, all her services will be disabled and you will not call me again, I will be sending you a legal notice in 24 hours and this is done ok? You're a real F***ing @$$hole." He said as soon as he picked up the phone.
I laughed and said "What services? You took advantage of an elderly woman, you're a F***ing piece of S***, don't tell me I'm the @$$hole when you're job is to F*** people over for a living, give me the password and we're done, ok?"
He tells me the password is "msoffice2014", I type it in, it'll unlock. I haven't tested it yet, but he berated me for about 3 minutes calling me every name he could, and I returned fire in force. I'm Ryan don't try to scam me, I'll fire back in a heartbeat ya jackass
If you know someone who falls victim to this scam
PASSWORD IS msoffice2014
Part 2 will talk about alternatives, and going forward maintenance. I know this isn't the most professional entry I have made, just thought I'd share as it was a resolution to a problem that was less than desired.
